For most of the summer, my friend Sarah and I worked on a creative writing project together. The result is a website (created by Sarah) that features a new writing prompt every two weeks. The prompts are creative and widely varied, and include things like photographs, lists of words, and lines from poetry. They are specifically designed to encourage writers of all ages, styles, and skill levels to listen to their muse and write something new. There are no limits.* Finished pieces can be of any length, form, style, and genre. We accept: poetry, stories, song lyrics, essays, journal entries, lists, note fragments---whatever your muse whispers. Nothing is edited. No submission is denied. The purpose of the project is to give you the opportunity to express the divine as you experience it through your own writing (those are Sarah's words~aren't they lovely?)
We hope that the website will become a community of creativity, where everyone can come to play and have their writing published.

Why not give it a try? Listen to your inner voice. Challenge yourself to partipate. Encourage your children to submit something, too! And, please don't forget to tell others about the project :- )
